Reminder: ๐Ÿ“ Knoxville area: TNSTEP is excited to partner with East Tennessee Children's Hospital to present our in-person Introduction to Special Education workshop on March 26 from 6:00โ€“8:00 PM (ET).

TNSTEPโ€™s Joey Ellis will cover parentsโ€™ rights and responsibilities under IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act), the process and timelines for eligibility and evaluations for receiving special education and related services, and how to prepare for productive IEP meetings at school (spoiler: parents are required members of the school team, and TNSTEP is here to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to play your important role). This is an information-packed training, so bring your notepad and questions!
