SC District 116 is ready for real and relatable representation that understands the community, knows how to get the work done on the local and state level, and has the people's best interests at heart.

With proven results, not just promises, I have spent more than 20 years showing up, serving, advocating, and building relationships alongside community leaders and local/state stakeholders to create real change. I don't just listen, I understand because I have lived it.

Over the last 20 years, I have been showing up, doing the work, advocating, and providing information, resources, and opportunities to help our families and communities thrive.

I didn't come to District 116—I am District 116.

I live here. I serve here. My children live here and attended public schools here.

When I win, this community wins because we are one and the same.

This election is about more than promises. It's about having a representative who can get things done for the people and one you can trust to be there when it matters most. I have never left, and I never will.

Will I be able to deliver on Day One? YES.

Will you be able to trust that I will always stand with the people? YES.

Will I continue to serve you the same way I always have? YES.

Thank you to the Edisto Democrats for inviting me to speak tonight and share my platform for South Carolina District 116.

It was an honor to discuss not only my vision for our communities, but also how my lived experiences have shaped who I am as a leader, advocate, and public servant. Every challenge, lesson, and opportunity has strengthened my commitment to serving others and fighting for the resources, opportunities, and representation our families deserve.

I believe leadership starts with listening, understanding, and being present in the community. That is the approach I have always taken, and it is the approach I will continue to bring to District 116.

For years, I have understood the importance of connecting, building, and engaging with the community. The only way to truly understand the needs, concerns, and hopes of the people is to be among them—listening, learning, and working alongside them.

SC District 116 deserves leadership that is accessible, relatable, and dependable year-round—not just during election season. My work has always been rooted in service, advocacy, and a genuine commitment to helping others. Serving this community is not something I do occasionally; it is who I am.

As we approach June and November, it is important that your voice is heard. I am listening, as I always have been, and I hear and see the concerns of our families, businesses, seniors, and youth.

Together, we can continue building stronger communities, creating opportunities, and ensuring that District 116 has the representation it deserves.
