Colonel John Fenwicke, born around 1675 in Northumberland, England, returned to his homeland where he passed away in 1747. He owned about 11,000 acres in the region, with Fenwick Hall being just one of his many plantations.
This plantation is lucky that it has two different Oak Alley entrances. The main drive is made of a double row of Oaks.
