Penn Forest Township Recreational Park Recreational Park in Penn Forest Twp Penn Forest Recreational Park is both a sports center and a recreational area for area residents.

The Penn Forest Recreational Park provides the community with many opportunities for groups and individuals to participate in physical activity, for families and the community to gather and socialize, or for some just a simple respite. The Park Advisory Board sponsors a variety of activities including youth soccer, Little League, Babe Ruth, and Connie Mack baseball, Softball, & seasonal events (Co

mmunity Day with fireworks in July, Fall Craft Festival, Trunk or Treat, & Santa lights the tree the 1st Saturday after Thanksgiving)

Meetings of the Park Advisory Board are held on the THIRD Wednesday of the month beginning at 6:30 pm. The meetings are public and those with park-related concerns are encouraged to attend. Meetings are in the Township building October-April, & in the park at the concession stand May-September.

We appreciate the generosity of the businesses that supplied equipment for our Touch A Truck event. The community's children and parents greatly enjoyed the event, which was a testament to the power of collaboration. Our second annual event was a resounding success, thanks to the participation of esteemed businesses like yours. We are also grateful to Enchanted Hues face painting, Robbie's Balloons, Goods Mountain Mug and Rent the Fun (bounce house) for their role in the event's success. Lastly, the selfless dedication of our emergency services personnel and their unwavering support is always appreciated. We thank you all!

There was a child's jacket left at the touch a truck event near the Mickey mouse blow up. I will be at the park for another half hour and then I will have it at the township building starting Monday. Ask for Holly.

Just a reminder. Touch a Truck is this coming Saturday May 30th from 10-1. Come let the kids explore and have fun. We will also have a bounce house, face painting and balloons. Fire Department will be selling hot dogs and drinks. See you all there!!

Join us for a delicious breakfast on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the Penn Forest Township Volunteer Fire Company No 1, 1387 State Route 903, Jim Thorpe, PA!

Doors open 8AM - 12 PM

$12/adult, $6/child (5-10), 4 yrs and under free, cash and credit card accepted.

Menu Includes:
Eggs to order
Scrambled Eggs
Cheese Omelette
Pancakes
French Toast
Potatoes (with or without peppers & onions)
Bacon
Sausage
Toast with or without Sausage Gravy
Coffee, Orange Juice, Hot Tea

Proceeds of the event support the efforts of our volunteer firefighters and fire police to protect the Penn Forest Twp community.
