9. Eugene HREBIN. HREBIN has ties to the Walnutport and Schnecksville areas. HREBIN is wanted for Possessing Contraband (F2), Possession of Firearm Prohibited (F2), Theft by Unlawful Taking (F3), Receiving Stolen Property (F3), Simple Possession (M) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). HREBIN is believed to have ties to the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, the Pagans.

10. Richard MCLAUGHLIN. MCLAUGHLIN has ties to the Bethlehem and Allentown areas. MCLAUGHLIN was sentenced on the felony charge of Receiving Stolen Property. MCLAUGHLIN was given a report date to begin his sentence, which he did not appear for, resulting in the charge of Default in Required Appearance (F3). MCLAUGHLIN is also wanted for Driving While Under the Influence, Second Offence (M1) and Receiving Stolen Property (M2).

CARBON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE # 1 TOP TEN LIST FUGITIVE APPREHENDED

On August 18th, 2022 the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office received notice that Mark DACOSTA of Lehighton failed to appear for a guilty plea hearing. DACOSTA’S charges included Aggravated Assault (F1), Flight to Avoid Apprehension x2 (M2), Fleeing and Eluding x2 (M2), Simple Assault (M2), Resisting Arrest (M2), Simple Possession x3 (M) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia x7 (M).
The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office attempted to locate DACOSTA, tracking him all over Pennsylvania but were unable to get an exact location of his whereabouts. The Sheriff’s Office then listed DACOSTA as their #1 target on their 10 Most Wanted List and requested the assistance of the community. The Sheriff’s Office then reached out to the United States Marshal’s Service for assistance in apprehending DACOSTA.
On April 25, 2024 the Marshal’s Service successfully tracked and apprehended DACOSTA at an address in Slatedale, PA. Sheriff ZEIGLER commended the work of U.S Marshals and the continued collaborative relationship they share with the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office. DACOSTA is incarcerated at the Carbon County Correctional Facility.
