During the weekends in either the summer or fall months the town population is said to nearly triple. That and the number of buildings currently being protected and resurrected by countless historical organizations makes keeping the town safe a sp

ecialty in itself. We as a 100% volunteer staff do our best to adapt to the ever changing town of Jim Thorpe and keep its residences and visitors safe. We are always looking to help anyone and we are constantly looking for more volunteers and donations to help us in our mission to make a better and safer Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania. If interested in joining the Diligent Fire Company you can stop by the fire house at the below listed address every Monday night at 7pm.
