Great day today appreciating all Carbon County Employees. Carbon County Judges, District Attorney, Commissioners, Sheriff, District Magistrate Judges and Elected Row Officers hosted an employee appreciation day. Our employees are amazing and we wanted to let them know how much we appreciate their dedication to all the constituents of Carbon County!!

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Barb Miller my 1st Deputy on her retirement. I Am successful in my position because of her and will be forever grateful for everything she did for me and constituents of Carbon County. She made sure the Hannah Robles is ready to step into the 1st deputy position on day one by all the training she gave her. She will be missed terribly and I am very sad I will not be seeing her everyday, but she deserves to enjoy her next chapter and I am excited for her. THANK YOU BARB MILLER - I love you!!! (Sorry I did not take photos of yesterdays festivities - we were enjoying Barbs day with her) - Also a shout out to Bridgette White for the amazing cakes (Country Junction bakery)!!

When you have an amazing staff - what do you do to thank them for all their hard work!! Take them glass blowing and a nice lunch to AcaMia!! I am truly blessed with these three beautiful women who I get to spend everyday with. They bought me the best gift - my Proud Air Force Mom sweatshirt to wear to graduation and Air Force Mom bracelet!! And a beautiful Lucky glass elephant. I am blessed and THANK YOU will never be enough for all they do!!

We had a surprise visit today from Hannah and Geno. I am in love - he is perfect. She has The most beautiful children - what a wonderful mother and father ❤️. We miss her at the office but she is loving her kids right now!!! Liz is just enjoying the moment!!

This week I had the honor to co-host the 94th Annual Register of Wills / Clerk of Orphans’ Court Conference with Gina Gibbs from Northampton County. We had the conference at SKYTOP LODGE - a HUGE THANK YOU TO THE STAFF AT SKYTOP amazing is an understatement - I want to say THANK YOU Gina for a great job and support organizing the week - thank you to ST LUKE’s HOSPITAL for the donation of the bags for all of the Registers and Clerks for the event. Finally THANK YOU TO ALL the Register of Wills / Clerk of Orphans’ Court who attended the Conference. It was a tight schedule filled with a wealth of information and activities.
