**UPDATE FOR INITIAL PISTOL PERMIT FINGERPRINTS**

As of June 15th, Troop E and the Jewett City Resident Troopers Office will return to completing fingerprints.

Due to changes in the pistol permit process, residents of Griswold who live outside of the borough of Jewett City need to contact Troop E to schedule an appointment for fingerprinting. To do so, contact the Troop E clerk's office at (860) 848-6520 during normal business hours.
- Applicants should bring a valid photo ID or US Passport and a $15.00 check payable to the Treasurer of the State of Connecticut. Applicants are asked to call Troop E Dispatch at (860) 848-6500 upon arrival at the Troop or use the blue courtesy phone outside the Troop and wait in their vehicle for an es**rt into the building for fingerprinting. Applicants are also asked to wear a facemask suitable to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and maintain social distancing when possible.
