THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Blessing Boxes drop off yesterday 🤗. We received 44 boxes👏🏽! We also appreciate Anita Williamson for coordinating the food drive, and Taisha Owens for bringing some volunteers from her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta (Amelia Chapter). This definitely helped to fill our shelves back up.

Today we had a surprise visit from Brandon Thorne, the Chief Financial Officer at FeedMore. He was passing by and wanted to stop in to say hi and see how the pantry operates. He couldn’t leave without taking a selfie with our director and some of our volunteers 😊. Thanks Brandon!

The rain ☔️ did not stop our fun with the Amelia County Sheriff’s Department’s “National Night Out” annual event. Due to the weather, it was moved to the Amelia county Fairgrounds; and what an awesome turn out.

*Cereal/Oatmeal
*Stuffing
* Macaroni & Cheese
*Mashed/Scalloped Potatoes
*Canned Fruits/Vegetables
*Chef Boyardee items such as Ravioli, Spagetti O’s, Beefaroni, etc.
*Ramen Noodles

If you would like to donate any of these items, please feel free to drop off during our business hours. Thanks!

The Amelia County Food Pantry will have their monthly TEFAP Food Distribution on Tuesday, July 14th, 9:30AM-2:00PM, or until food runs out. If you are a client you don't want to miss this day, you will receive extra food for the month in addition to your pantry food. You must reside in Amelia County to sign up and get food; if you are not already a client, you may sign up and receive food on Tuesday. Please have ID to sign up. We hope to see you! Do us a favor and have the space in your vehicle ready to receive the food. THANK YOU😊!

What a wonderful time we had today at FeedMore’s Built for More: 2026 Agency Network Conference. This year it was hosted at The Oak Avenue Complex, in Highland Springs, Virginia. The Breakout sessions were very enlightening; the networking opportunities were phenomenal; and to top it off each pantry represented received a check for $1,000 and we got ice cream from an ice cream 🍦 truck.

Our director, Joi Worsham, was also presented with another check for the pantry so some renovation projects can be completed. We appreciate FeedMore and how they support our pantry 💝🤗!
