📢 PUBLIC NOTICE: WORK SESSION, TOWN HALL & PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Jesup will hold a work session and public town hall meeting on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Cracker Williams Community Center, 245 E. Bay Street.

The meeting will focus on a proposed ordinance regarding data centers and cryptocurrency mining operation centers. The proposed ordinance would establish regulations for these uses, including zoning requirements, conditional use permits, and supplemental development and performance standards within the L-I Light Industrial District.

Following the work session and town hall, a Public Hearing will be held at 7:00 PM at the same location. The public is invited to attend and provide comments regarding the proposed ordinance.

📄 The proposed ordinance is available for review at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall during regular business hours and on the City of Jesup website.

All interested persons are encouraged to attend and be heard.

Persons requiring an accommodation to participate should contact the City Clerk at (912) 427-1313 at least three (3) business days prior to the meeting.
