The City of Jesup (pop. 2,508) is accepting applications for a Street Superintendent. This is a regular, full-time position. The salary range is $19.89-$32.08, depending on qualifications, plus benefits. Ideal candidates would have a diesel technology degree or similar experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and will be required to obtain a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with airbrakes endorsement within three months of hire. Iowa Grade 1 Water Treatment and Distribution Operator Certifications and Grade 1 Wastewater Treatment Certification encouraged within two years of employment. As we prepare to welcome riders passing through our community during RAGBRAI, we’re looking forward to showcasing everything that makes Jesup, Iowa, such a special place.

RAGBRAI is an incredible opportunity to highlight our small-town charm, hospitality, and community pride to thousands of visitors from across the country.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more information, updates, and ways to get involved as we get closer to the big day. Many hands will be needed. We’re so excited to come together as a community and make this a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for everyone involved!
