Even though we may go back and forth as competitors, at the end of the day we all share the same mission taking care of our patients and serving our communities. Whether it’s one aircraft or both working side by side, when help is needed, we’re there. Different teams, same goal: providing the best care possible.

Congratulations to one of our newest additions to Air Evac 96 family, Allison Yommer has been with us for 18 months now and has managed to complete 150 patient flights. A heartfelt farewell today for one of our own pilots as he slides into retirement. We are very sad to see Tony Sumrow moving on to retirement. Tony has been with Air Evac since 2007, and has held every position imaginable to include pilot, pilot supervisor, safety rep, program director, as well as area pilot. He will be spending his retirement working on his farm.

Congratulations Flight Medic Reid Brown on surpassing the 1000 patient flight milestone. Reid is the 9th flight crew member currently at AE96 to reach this accomplishment. Congratulations to our three 1500 Flight Award recipients. At this time, they join the other four 1500 Flight Award winners across the Great State of Air Evac Georgia.

Flight Medic Ken Herrin has been with us 14 years. He actually hit 1500 flights about 1 year ago now. Thank you, Ken. We appreciate your experience and your willingness to help 96 and all our sister bases. Ken's award is being presented by our VP Brett Jovanovich.

Flight Nurse/Medic Mario Rodriguez has also been with us 14 years. Mario has served us as a Flight Medic, Flight Nurse, BCL, and Blood superuser. We appreciate all you have done to contribute to our success and your willingness to help out our sister bases. Mario's award is presented by Sr PD Donald Mixon.

Pilot Matt Keanon is a couple months short of 13 years with us. We appreciate your willingness to work extra at AE96 and also support our sister bases. Your experience and professionalism are exceptional. Matt's award is being presented by Sr PD Donald Mixon
