FYI - due to an issue with our supplier the water bills are now on white paper instead of the usual blue. This will continue for the foreseeable future. Once we go back to blue we will let you know. Bills were sent to the post office yesterday.

Friendly reminder to our water customers, please be careful mowing near your water meters. There will be a charge to replace any meter parts damaged. Here are a few recommendations to help avoid this:
Inform Your Lawn Maintenance Crew: Make sure your lawn maintenance crew is aware of the location of your water meter. Clear communication can prevent accidental damage.
Flagging the Meter: Place a flag or marker near your meter until the lawn maintenance crew and you and your household members become familiar with the meter location. This can serve as a visual reminder to avoid the area.
Regular Checks: Periodically check the flagged areas to ensure the markers are still visible and intact, especially after lawn maintenance work is done.
Taking these simple steps can help prevent damage and avoid additional fees.

The hydrant replacement project was finished ahead of schedule. The water service has been restored to those affected. 48 hour boil order is in effect. If you did not have water this morning but did not receive an all call last night at 6pm, please call our office to update your phone number to ensure that you receive notifications in the future. Switzerland of Ohio water has issued a precautionary 48 hour boil advisory due to waterline repairs for all of our service connections in Beallsville (including Wilson). This boil advisory will expire on Friday, February 13th at 4:00pm. Water should be vigorously boiled for at least one minute prior to human consumption or dental hygiene use. We do not recommend washing any white or light colored clothing during the boil order period as you may experience times of discolored water and or low water pressure. An all-call is being sent out to all customers affected. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you.

We have received several calls from customers from the Beallsville/Wilson area with little to no water at this time. We are currently out looking for the problem and will send out an all call once we know more. We apologize for this inconvenience.

We have issued a precautionary boil advisory due to waterline repairs for all customers south of the booster station on Winland Hill outside of Barnesville. This boil advisory will expire on Saturday, October 4th at 5:40pm. Water should be vigorously boiled for at least one minute prior to human consumption or dental hygiene use. We do not recommend washing any white or light colored clothing during the boil order period as you may experience times of discolored water and or low water pressure. Due to issues at Barnesville Water, everyone on our system will experience times of low water pressure. We currently do not have an estimated time frame as to when this issue will be resolved. We apologize for this inconvenience.

The leak on the main line has been repaired. Everyone south of Cline Road in Somerton are currently under a precautionary boil order. Water should be vigorously boiled for at least one minute prior to human consumption or dental hygiene use. We do not recommend washing any white or light colored clothing during the boil order period as you may experience times of discolored water and or low water pressure. An all call has been sent. If you live in the affected area and did not receive a call please contact the office at 740-926-1465 to make sure that we have a good phone number on file for you.

A leak has been found on the main water line outside of Somerton. Customers are currently experiencing water pressure issues due to this leak. Once the leak has been fixed an all call message will be send out to all of the customers who will be under a 48 hour boil order. Please make sure that your contact number is up to date with us to ensure that you receive all messages regarding water issues.
