The Jerseyville, Illinois Police Department works to provide professional and responsive law enforcement services to Jerseyville 24/7. The Department serves approximately 10,000 residents in Jerseyville, Illinois. The men and women of the Jerseyville Police Department are committed to enhancing the quality of life in our community, maintaining Jerseyville as a safe place. The Jerseyville Police Department exists to professionally serve those who live in or visit the City of Jerseyville, Illinois. The men and women of the Jerseyville Police Department are committed to enhancing the quality of life in our community, maintaining Jerseyville as a safe place to raise a family while proactively addressing community issues. The Jerseyville Police Department has 15 full time, sworn police officers which is supported by our highly skilled dispatch center. There are several divisions within the Jerseyville Police Department, such as the Patrol Division, the Criminal Investigations Division, the Support Services Division, and the K-9 Division. The Jerseyville Police Department is also members of the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS), which is a regional Tactical Response Team. All officers receive continuous monthly training about all aspects of Law Enforcement.
