Illinois is setting the Gold Standard in crisis response! In case you missed it, ILETSB and the Cook County Sheriff's Office graduated the inaugural class of the nation's first Crisis Response Therapy Canine Certification Program.



11 certified K-9 teams from across the state are now equipped to support de-escalation, officer wellness, and trauma-informed policing. Interested in the program? You don't need a prior therapy dog certification to start, but applicants must be a recognized law enforcement agency.
