Jersey County Against Drugs Coalition The Jersey County Drug Coaliton (JCAD) was developed in response to JCHD receiving a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services.

The Jersey County Against Drug Coalition was developed in response to JCHD receiving a grant from the IL Dept of Human Services. Funding is provided in whole or part by IDHS and The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA). The JCAD first met in September 2012. The Coalition membership comes from a wide variety of community organizations. At this time the coaliton activiti

es are directed to the process of coaliton development and meeting requiremtns of the grant. Eventually, a comprehensive community plan will be developed to address prevention of youth substance abuse.
