🌬️ May is Asthma Awareness Month

Asthma affects people of all ages, and triggers like secondhand smoke can make symptoms worse.

Even brief exposure to smoke can:
• Trigger asthma attacks
• Irritate airways
• Make it harder to breathe

🚭 There is no safe level of secondhand smoke exposure.

Being mindful of where and when you smoke helps protect children, older adults, and anyone living with asthma.

🕷️ Tick season is here—know how to remove them safely!

If you find a tick attached to your skin, it’s important to remove it the right way to reduce the risk of disease.

✔ Use fine-tipped tweezers
✔ Grasp the tick close to the skin
✔ Pull upward with steady, even pressure
✔ Clean the area after removal

❌ Avoid using heat, petroleum jelly, or other home remedies

Stay tick-aware when spending time outdoors—check yourself, your kids, and pets after being outside.
