Artist & Maker Market is an open-air bazaar featuring locally created fine art and premium hand-crafted goods while connecting artists and artisans with the metro NYC community. Founded in 2015 with only 5 dates and one location, we have grown to over 90 market event dates in 2019 and with 2 bustling New Jersey locations (Grove Street PATH Plaza and Journal Square Plaza). AAM was established to ac

commodate the increased consumer demand for locally sourced goods and a high volume venue for artists to sell them. Our mission is to encourage micro-entrepreneurs in the areas of art, crafts and design and these types of vendors have found a wonderful niche at our markets, broadening the customers’ experiences while also building a consumer-maker relationship. It is a unique opportunity to shop directly from emerging new makers and established artists to find one-of-a-kind items and meet the people who made them. We strive to support handmade goods as an alternative to mass-produced items and work to cultivate small business and entrepreneurship by providing a thriving place for them to sell. AMM Grove St Spring/Summer Season runs from May to Sept 2020. Wednesdays & JCFriday’s are in conjunction with the highly celebrated Groove on Groove weekly live music series. Also continuing this year is "Feel Good Fridays & Saturdays": a handmade art market comprised of 30+ vendors, a DJs, food & more happening every first Friday and Saturday of the month. It’s a seasonal citywide art festival in Jersey City. PATH Plaza
