Join the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection at Liberty State Park today, for the 24th Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony & Candlelight Vigil.

The event will honor those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks with remarks from speakers, a candlelight vigil and performances by the New Jersey State Police Honor Guard, the Port Authority Police Pipes and Drums Band, and the Ramsey High School Chorus.

Memorializing the time, 30 years ago, when the first terrorist attack on the World Trade Center occurred.

Monica Rodriguez Smith and her unborn child

Who lost their lives on February 26, 1993 during the attack at the World Trade Center 30 years ago.

We remember, as well, the more than 1,000 people who were injured during that heinous crime.

The 5K will be preceded by our NJ 9/11 Ceremony.

The Run begins at the Empty Sky Memorial and then parallels the Hudson View of the NY Skyline in Liberty State Park in Jersey City.

Tickets will also be available for purchase at the 5K, however - credit cards preferable.

We will be holding our NJ 9/11 Memorial Ceremony prior to the 5K.
