Steah Htoo came to Albany in 2009 as a refugee from Myanmar after 20 years in a refugee camp in Thailand. With her ability to speak both English and Karenni, a Burmese language, she has helped with translation for a wide range of circumstances for refugee families in schools, the workforce and government agencies.
