Jensen Beach Community Playground

Jensen Beach Community Playground This is a community built playground. Constructed May 2014 by hundreds of community members.

Under the umbrella of the Jensen Beach Elementary PTA, a group of community volunteers are embarking on a collaborative effort to design, fund and construct a customized community based playground. We have hired a playground design company, Leathers Associates, to design a modern structure made of recycled materials that is projected to last decades. Leather Associates have proven to be a leading

creator of unique, volunteer built playgrounds as evidenced by the Wildcats Playground at Palm City Elementary. Many parents feel the scope of this playground will meet the growing demand for a safer and more convenient resource to meet our children’s developmental needs. Simultaneously it will encourage bonding opportunities that will bring children, families, and the entire community of Jensen Beach together.

JBHS Volunteers -- It's time to sign up to sell Prom Tickets! JBHS PTSA needs volunteers to help JBHS staff sell Prom Tickets tickets during lunches. Tickets will be sold from 4/23 - 4/26 and from 4/29 - 5/2 in the cafeteria. Lunch A begins at 11:53a and Lunch B ends at 1:17p. Please arrive by 11:40 for your shift. Note: Wed May 1st is Early Release shifts begin at 10:35a until 11:51am only on this day.

Please note: All volunteers MUST be registered & approved as a current volunteer with MCSD. Volunteers, please check in at the front desk at your shift start time to get your volunteer badge & then you will proceed to the cafeteria.

JBE families- Great News

The Jensen Beach Community Playground will open to the public for use today. Hours will be 6 pm until dusk during the week and 8 am until dusk on the weekends.

JBE appreciates and thanks the Martin County School District and the Martin County Parks and Recreation Department who have worked in collaboration to make this happen for our residents. There are cameras and security measures in place to ensure that the playground and surrounding areas remain a child-friendly environment and graffiti-free area. We appreciate all community efforts to collaboratively ensure this beautiful space continues to be available for use.
