Jenkintown Seniors Zuri Barnett, Branden Saunders and Dari Parkhomenko won special awards at Eastern Center for Arts and Technology at Eastern's end of year awards program on Wednesday May 20. We are so proud of their efforts and the way in which they represented Jenkintown during their time at Eastern. Please join us in celebrating their achievements.

Color Day is almost here. Even with today’s rain, we’re looking forward to a great celebration filled with school and community spirit.

Due to the weather, crews will be working on the field early tomorrow morning to prepare for the event. We ask that families and guests please stay out of the stadium until the parade begins so everything can be safely set and ready.

The parade will begin lining up on West Ave near the Elementary School and step off at 8:50 AM, arriving at the stadium shortly after.

A few important reminders for everyone attending:

Please help us keep Color Day a positive community tradition by respecting all neighborhood properties and ensuring celebrations remain safe and responsible.

We are excited to welcome back members of the Class of 1976 as they celebrate their 50th reunion. They will join us in the parade and have designated seating on the field, along with Legacy Park Auction winners. We ask all spectators to respect field boundaries and posted barriers.

For safety reasons, please stay off the track at all times.

We are excited to celebrate with our families, alumni, and community. Enjoy Color Day 2026!

Some of our incredible 9th graders showed what leadership truly looks like this year—bringing their hard work to life with an advocacy trip to Harrisburg today.

Students visited the State Capitol to speak up for increased funding for to***co prevention and cessation programs, using their voices to make a real impact beyond the classroom.

This meaningful experience was made possible through a grant secured by Ms. Geary, and both Ms. Geary and Ms. McLoughlin couldn’t be more proud of how these students represented Jenkintown—with passion, purpose, and professionalism.

The Jenkintown Music Department achieved great success this past weekend at the WorldStrides Music Festival in New York City. The Honors' Chorale, Belletones, and Just the Guys vocal groups all received gold ratings. The wind ensemble and Jazz Ensemble both received silver ratings. Thank you to Ms. Davidson and Dr. Kugelman for organizing this wonderful experience.
