J town !! It’s time to gather your fighters, your warriors, your survivors, your squads, your gang or your tribe or whatever you call your friends and come join us! We will be riding for Breast Cancer Awareness Saturday, Oct. 28th at 4 pm starting at the Jena Town Park. Decorate you bike, golf cart or scooter and lets pink out the town.

The Town of Jena Splash Pad will close Sunday, October 1 at 6pm. It’s been a great summer and we look forward to seeing our little friends next year!

Thank you to everyone that set up a trunk tonight for Trunk or Treat and staying in the rain. Also to Brandy Eubanks for the entire Mickey and Minnie crew on stage. The kids love it. I think everyone had a good time. Please share you pictures on the park page so others can enjoy them.

Everyone please come out this morning for the dedication of the Dream Court. Meet Jason Hatcher as he and Nancy Lieberman will officially open the new basketball court. Let’s all show up and support their addition to our park for the children. Ceremony starts at 10am.

It’s getting that time of year again! Easter in the park will be April 19th, which is Good Friday from 10-2:30. The Easter bunny will arrive at 10 am with a host of friends and super heroes. If anyone is interested in setting up a game, please let us know before April 12th by calling 318-308-8699 or Town Hall 992-2148. Egg hunt times will be posted soon. Let’s make this a fun day for the kids.

Hi everyone! The Easter bunny wants to remind you that he will be hopping into the park on Good Friday morning to see everyone! Be sure to check out Town of Jena Easter in the park 2019 face book page for more updates on the Easter bunny arrival time and egg hunt times. These will be posted soon. Eggs should be showing up on the egg tree soon.
