🎉🎉🎉 What a success our first ever double-feature of the Kids' Book Fun and Friday Fun has been! Thank you so much to everyone who attended and made it possible: children, their adults, and the library staff members. It was a true celebration of reading and creativity. Don't forget, the next Friday Fun is next Friday, and the next Kids' Book Fun is next month, on October 2nd. (For now, the Kids' Book Fun is monthly, but if we get significant expression of interest, we will consider increasing the frequency. Please let us know what you think!). 🎉🎉🎉😀

Our first expert-guided Crafternoon for adults yesterday was a great success! Everyone had tons of fun, learned something new, and made a lovely, decorated book bag. At this week's Friday Fun our younger patrons will have a chance to experiment with the same project. Meanwhile, please take note of our Crafternoon schedule: every month, there will be one self-directed session and one expert-led project. There was nothing dense about our Friday Fun today! On the contrary, Dot the Storyteller turned the lesson on density into a light and buoyant event, with plenty of fun and laughter—and some serious learning. Big thanks also to everyone on the library team—Roz, Hailey, Amanda—who came up with the event idea and helped to set it up.
