A CASA goes through 30 hours of training, and upon completion of this training, is sworn in as an officer of the court. This training includes information on the court system, DCS guidelines, Indiana law, effects of abuse and trauma, family dynamics, and report writing. Each CASA must also comple

te 12 hours continued training annually. CASA - The Voice of Clark County's Children also has other ways to volunteer by becoming an Auxiliary member. The Auxiliary members are the support system for the CASA volunteers. The Auxiliary Members help in fundraising, event planning, recruiting and spreading the word about the program to raise community awareness. The auxiliary members do NOT work a case or have any contact with people involved with a case.
