Just thought I would write on this page, I have had so many notification saying it is getting previews and a few new likes. Yes I ran for Commissioner and I lost. I lost because all the lies that were spread about me. I never was working with or for anyone, I never took money or allowed or was offered money to be paid on my behalf, yes, the old Commissioner asked if he could get signatures that allowed me to get on the ballot, of course, I would be an idiot for not letting him, it was just a signature saying they didn't care if I ran and he only did that because he hated that he lost to someone else and had nothing to do with me personally. I fought hard and never lied about anything and was treated so badly by two men in this county that I will never speak to again and lied on by a woman that I thought was a friend and she will hear an earful if I ever see her again. I still believe the county made a bad choice and I believe we are all paying for it but nothing I can do. I can't do a damn thing now because if I go to the Commissioner with anything he will never listen to me because he resents that I ran against him (and that's another person that treated me like crap, so much for a good sport, I was always nice to him and told him to have a good day) so I appoligize to everyone I wanted to help because now my hands are tied. I swear everything I have said is true and I will still try and point you in the right direction if you need help. Our county needs help and I have predicted that in a few years we will no longer have a Twiggs county. I believe the state will split our county into other counties because our leaders can't get a hold on spending. There are so many things we need for our community that wouldn't cost a dime that would make our county a better place to live. If we had things that involves the community, it wouldn't hurt so bad to pay more taxes, if we had problems fixed and attitudes changed, it wouldn't hurt so bad to pay higher taxes, but when we are forced to pay higher taxes and get nothing in return, no progress, no use of the empty buildings the county owns for things to benefit us, then why would we want to stay here. One more thing, I am not always a bitter person and I don't always complain, but when I do it is because we the citizens need change and want change and I am sick of people getting mad or people criticizing us for complaining. That is how change happens. If no one raises the issue, no one will change it. Rant over. Thank you for looking at my page, I hope this satisfies the curiosity of the people looking at this page. I will be deleting it but thought I owed the person's looking at it lately a farewell message. In closing, if you have an issue, voice your opinion, go about it tactfully, start a petition, start a group, ask others to get involved, and join the twiggs county concerned citizens page!!! I started that page with hopes of change and people making contacts with others who want change.
