Please refer to page 2 of your statement for a full detail of your bill. This will show how your property taxes are calculated. You can also see any changes from 2022, other assessment billing charges, as well as deduction information. Page 2 should answer most if not all of your questions.

Pay 2024 assessments are going out this month, please be on the lookout for these. You have until June 15, 2023 to appeal your pay 2024 property assessment. The deadline for pay 2023 assessment appeals was June 2022. If you have questions regarding your assessment please contact the

Oak Park Conservancy has implemented a flat fee as well as the tax rate for pay 2023. If you have questions regarding Oak Park Conservancy charges, please contact Oak Park Conservancy District. The Auditor’s office applies the charges to the tax bill only. We do not have any details pertaining to the billing.

Most tax rates did not go up. If you see a large increase in your tax bill, please verify you are receiving the deductions you applied for, check your assessment for an increase, and review other charges/adjustments for liens and or Conservancy charges. All of this information can be found on page 2 of your tax bill.
