Jefferson Police Department This is the official page of the Jefferson Police Department. Our department, located at 104 E. Jefferson St in the heart of Ashtabula County .

Within the page you will find links to tip email lines, information about the Department, and other local news updates. It is made up of a great group of officers that take pride in law enforcement. The Jefferson Police Department employs 6 full time officers, 1 part time secretary/ dispatcher, and 8 auxiliary officers. Some of the training and certification the department holds are drug and crimi

nal investigations, crime scene investigation, evidence collection, crime scene photography, and fi****ms training. The department has a proactive patrol division that handles numerous calls throughout a shift treating each one with the utmost importance no matter how big or small of an issue. This department is all together a very well rounded group of men and women that dedicate themselves to making Jefferson Village a safe and amazing place to live. These officers go above and beyond to serve and protect and always will. The Police Dept takes pride in the respect we get from the public and the support we constantly have from the community. We are involved in the needy Christmas program, shop with a cop, safety town, and many other community activities. Eventually on this page will be a warrant list, narcotics tip line, and events scheduled to keep the public up on dates for our events in the village such as parades, the fair, safety town etc...

The **Village of Jefferson Police Department** is proud to welcome **Officer Elijah Monroe** to our team as our newest Patrol Officer!

Officer Monroe joins us from the Cleveland area and brings several years of law enforcement experience. He is excited to become part of the Jefferson community and looks forward to meeting and serving the residents and visitors of our Village.

Please join us in giving Officer Monroe a warm welcome as he begins this new chapter with the Jefferson Police Department. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the positive impact he will make in our community.
