๐ Help us welcome the newest face to our team!
We are EXCITED to introduce the newest staff member joining our Jefferson family! Today, we're welcoming Kadin Mustafa, our new special education paraprofessional at the High School!
Take a moment to get to know Kadin below! ๐
๐ด Kadin is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where he attended Bark River-Harris High School.
๐ก After high school, he joined the Marine Corps, serving for four years with two deployments to the Middle East. After his time in the service, he found himself riding bulls for the IPRA, where he met a lot of great people and had a lot of fun. At the same time, he began his journey working with student-athletes. He assisted with the baseball and boys' basketball teams and served as the head football coach at a small school in Michigan called Ontonagon Area Schools.
This is where he found his love for helping kids not only grow, but also, in his words, "helping guide them to become the best version of themselves while reaching any goals they may have athletically and academically."
๐ด Kadin is very excited to be in Jefferson and working with a fantastic staff. He found his way here because a few people he is close with live in the surrounding area. They told him how beautiful the area is and that moving here was the best decision they had made for themselves.
So, at a point in his life where it made sense to make a move, he decided to apply to coach football and work for the school. Now that he's here, he can already see what his friends were talking aboutโwhat a fantastic group of boys he gets to work with, a great coaching staff he has the privilege of coaching alongside, and a beautiful community to be a part of.
The community has treated him so well, and he is very thankful for that. He's excited not only for this new chapter of his life, but also for the school year ahead and the opportunity to help as many students as he can.
๐ฃ Welcome to Jefferson, Kadin! We're so happy to have you as part of our team! โค๏ธ
