Now that all of our high school graduates have received their scholarships from the 4-H Foundation it's time to announce all of the returning college students that will be receiving a $1,500 scholarship to help with next year's college. This year we have 17 of them. Congratulations to Megan Brand, Tyler Britton, Chloe Cusano, Olivia Fenton, Alexa Flack, Grayson Hudak, Kalena Kelner, Rachel Kimmerlee, Sarah Misinec, Dinae Moore, Scarlet Morse, Mae Noble, Mason Summers,, Alexa Zeman, and Delaney Zeman!!!!! Ryan Waldo received the TNT farms scholarship and Serenity Kranauer received the JJ stitt Memorial Scholarship. This is in addition to the eight scholarships that were awarded at the various high schools around the county and also a total of over $5,000 was awarded to assist 4-H members going to 4-H camp. So excited to be able to assist so many great youth of Ashtabula County with a total this year from the 4-H foundation of over $42,000! Thank you to all of our tremendous supporters who are helping keeping this thing going by attending our events, donating items, or volunteering. This is a huge group effort that takes a community to keep it working. The 4-H Foundation is near reaching its goal in our endowment and we expect within a couple more years to be awarding close to $100,000 per year. Ashtabula County people are definitely the best!
