During the last full week of school, Mrs. Hannifin had the opportunity to share the Art room with another Art Teacher for the Day! Top Kindergarten Fun Run fundraiser, Charleigh Evans, showed up with her “paint and splatter” embroidered dress, hair pulled back in a messy bun, and she even brought matching tie-dye aprons to share with Mrs. Hannifin! Throughout the day, Charleigh was able to help the last few classes in Kindergarten through 5th grade finish glazing their clay projects, sharpened a lot of pencils for students who finished their work early, and even helped with report card grades on her first break! Charleigh was eager to walk around and talk to all the students and lend a hand wherever she was needed. The day was so busy and full of excitement that even a fire drill didn’t stop her from teaching right up to the final bell for dismissal! Our youngest Art Teacher for the day welcomed our little messes, led with kindness, and navigated through the ever-changing schedule like a true champion! Thank you, Charleigh, for wanting to be a part of helping us make more beautiful masterpieces and colorful memories in Art!
