Throwing it back to the first week of school when students in Mrs. Lioi’s 5th grade class began exploring culture in Module 1 of Wit & Wisdom! 🌎

Using their Culture Webs, students created slides highlighting their families’ beliefs and values. They then participated in a gallery walk to learn more about one another and celebrate the unique backgrounds represented in their classroom! ❤️

Our 3rd grade mathematicians brought partitive division to life by using crackers and plates to model sharing equally into groups. Hands-on learning helps students see the math, explain their thinking, and build a deeper understanding of division!

Students took their rock and mineral learning to the next level by creating their own minerals! This hands-on activity gave them a chance to explore mineral properties while turning science into something they could create and investigate themselves.
