Today, students new to JHS this year had a chance to connect with peers at a special “Snack Attack” in the Media Center! Students spent FIRE meeting with their peer Dragon Buddies, grabbing a snack, socializing, and making new connections.

We love creating opportunities for our newest students to feel welcomed, supported, and right at home in the Dragon family! ❤️💙

Ms. Samantha Maddox is such a bright spot on our JHS faculty. More than one student has said “she actually made me understand math!” 🧮

We have some exciting news! Earlier today, we had the honor of notifying Ms. Samantha Maddox that she has been selected as JHS’s 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year. We’ll share more about her soon. For now, join us in congratulating this year’s JHS Teacher of the Year.

Friday night was electric! Memorial Stadium came to life with so much of our community coming together to cheer on the Dragons! The energy was palpable as the players took the field and went on to win 55-21 in the first home game. Thank you to everyone who showed up to support our athletes! We are looking forward to a great season! 🏈❤️💙

Mr. Rodgers's class was taking math out of the classroom and into the hallways last week! 📏✨ Students tackled graphing quadratic functions and identifying key features on a giant scale. Who said parabolas can’t be hands-on? 📊
