๐ ONE WEEK TILL PARADE DAY! ๐๐
Join us on December 6th, 2025 at 4:30 PM for the Jefferson City Jaycees 86th Annual Christmas Parade that will light up the streets of Downtown!
โจ Parade Route:
The parade will kick off east on High Street from Missouri Blvd to Lafayette Street, then travel north on Lafayette to Capitol Avenue, and finally head west on East Capitol to disband at the Truman Building parking lots.
****VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ******
It has become a consistent concern in recent years that parade goers are stepping farther into the street during the parade, creating unsafe conditions, narrowing the parade route, and making it difficult for floats and marching bands to get through safely. To protect all attendees and ensure the parade can proceed smoothly, parade goers are required to remain at the curb and keep children from going out into the street at all times. Candy will be tossed directly on the ground towards the curb at your feetโthere is no need for anyone to move into the street!
We also encourage parade goers to make full use of the entire parade route to allow for better spacing, visibility, and overall safety. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable event for the whole community.
๐ Parking Info:
To ensure a smooth parade, parking will not be allowed on High Street from Broadway Street to Adams Street. All vehicles must be removed by 3:00 PM on December 6th.
New to the 2025 Parade SILENT HILL!
Silent Hill is a designated quiet zone along the parade route where all sirens, horns, loud music and flashing lights are paused.
-This section begins at the intersection of Monroe Street and Captial Avenue and continues along the parade route until the back side of the Capitol Building.
This section is designed to create a calm and inclusive environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities, such as those affected by loud noises or bright, strobing lights.
Parade participants and spectators are asked to keep noise and visual stimulation to a minimum while passing through this area, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the parade safely and comfortably.
