MO FFA Camp - Day 5!
Members listened and learned from retired Lt. Col. Don Koonce, a military veteran, transplant recipient, story teller, and much more. Koonce has spoken at FFA camp for many years, but this year brought a special story that reflected the week’s theme, Paint Your Purpose. Koonce had a great message for our members, especially when talking about his latest perseverance when receiving and healing from his lung transplant this past winter. Thank you for your message, Lieutenant Colonel Koonce! 🇺🇸
Members also received their awards for the week! Congratulations to the following:
- Daelin Brown: Week 1 Reporter, State Leadership Medal, 2nd Place Extemporaneous Speaking
- Dallia Eddings: State Leadership Medal, All Around Camper
- Mac Brauch: State Leadership Medal
- Gavin Schaben: Most friends in the shortest amount of time award (according to Ms. Grant - Gavin couldn’t join us until later in the week!)
🦕Scroll to the end of the photos to see a few snapshots of camp from Dallia’s ‘Tiny Diny” point of view. All members were given a tiny diny to keep with them throughout the week - just a fun keepsake and friend to carry along! 🦖
4/4 members said they would come back to camp, and that is a WIN in our book! Thanks for a great week, MO FFA!
