Our Chamber executives hit the streets of downtown Springfield for the ultimate team building adventure! From hidden gems to local landmarks, we raced, laughed, and discovered the city in a whole new way.

Nothing builds camaraderie quite like friendly competition and exploring a community together! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

And that’s a wrap on Day 3 at the CCEM Annual Conference! 🎉

We closed out strong with two sessions focused on working smarter, not harder:

🛠️ Tech Tools with Lauri Lyerla (Neosho Chamber) — practical tools we can start using Monday to streamline workflows, strengthen communication, and lighten the load.

🤖 The Chamber Brain: AI with Dr. Spencer Harris (Mostly Serious) — breaking down how AI can help us create, plan, organize, and reduce mental clutter so we can show up as our best selves for our members and communities.

Both sessions left us inspired to innovate, adapt, and continue leading with intention.

We learned.
We connected.
We laughed.
We grew — together. 🤝✨

Day 2 of the CCEM Annual Conference did NOT disappoint! 🙌✨

We kicked off the morning with From Fundraisers to Focus, where Jen Johnson (Springfield Area Chamber) and Alisha Trammell (Dexter Chamber) walked us through shifting from “busy” to mission-driven impact. So many aha! moments.

Then our keynote, Dr. Tim Crowley, brought the energy with The Bright Side Advantage — reminding us that leadership isn’t just strategy… it’s mindset, meaning, and momentum. 💡🔥

Afternoon breakouts gave us the chance to dive deeper:
• Grassroots Advocacy with Tori Mercado & Alisha Trammell — influence without the politics.
• The Bright Side Blueprint with Dr. Crowley — seven micro-habits to move from burnout to breakthrough.
• The Legal Landscape for Chambers with John Marino — the things we need to know.
• From Message to Impact with Dr. Lance Coffman — telling our story with purpose.

Then we gathered with “our people” for Peer Conversations — the real talk, the shared challenges, the you’re not alone moments. 🤝

And to end the night?
A competitive scavenger hunt through downtown Springfield.
Yes… some of us might be very competitive. 😄🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️
