Members of the 131st Bomb Wing Missouri Air National Guard are hard at work this week restoring our F4 Phantom. We will post photos of their work over the next 2 weeks.

Accompanying the donation of Lindsay’s Kemper Academy uniform and overcoat was this short cut uniform named to a W. E. Wilson. The coat resembles the famous Ike jacket with the two waist cinch bands.

Take a look at this incredible donation that came in. This dress uniform and wool overcoat belonged to a L. C. Lindsay that attended Kemper Academy in Boonville, Missouri in the mid 1930s. All the correct pins and patches are in place except for one button on the overcoat. It appears to be a British artillery man’s button any ideas on how it got there? Additionally, inside the pocket was the pictured certificate Lindsay received for his sport activities. An amazing piece of Missouri’s academic military history.

Great photo of Missouri F4 and F15 flying straight up. These two aircraft were serving with the old 131st Fighter Wing in St. Louis.
