Veterans, Did you know?
Emergency Care Guidance:
If you're a Veteran and face a true medical emergency, don’t wait. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Got emergency care at a non‑VA hospital?
Here’s what VA needs from you:
Ask them to notify VA within 72 hours via their Emergency Care Reporting portal or by calling 844‑724‑7842.
If the hospital doesn’t report it, you or someone on your behalf must do it, still within 72 hours!
These steps help ensure your care is covered and you get the follow-up you deserve.
Let us know if you knew this information in the comments & share to help a fellow Veteran!

Bring your worn or damaged American Flag to a veteran-run flag collection at the St. Charles County Administration Building on June 12 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. 🇺🇸

Members of the St. Charles County Veterans Best Practices Working Group will collect worn or damaged flags at the corner of North Second Street and Monroe Street in downtown St. Charles. All flags will be donated to the American Legion for final disposal.

The collection is a drive-thru drop off, so you don’t need to leave your vehicle. Veteran volunteers will collect flags directly from the car.

Anyone who can’t make it to the collection on June 12 can drop flags in designated collection boxes anytime. The boxes are outside the County Administration Building (201 N. Second Street, St. Charles) and at Veterans Tribute Park (1031 Kisker Road, Weldon Spring).
