It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Department Secretary/Treasurer, Nancy Reeves. Nancy did so much for the Department of Missouri and she will be greatly missed.

For more than 15 years, the American Legion Auxiliary Foundation has proudly funded initiatives that serve veterans, military, and their families. Through the ALA Foundation, Auxiliary units, districts/counties, and departments can build partnerships with organizations and VA medical facilities to strengthen support for our nation’s heroes, locally and nationally.

This Veterans Day, the best way to honor the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes is by supporting the third annual Veterans Day of Giving.

What is the Veterans Day of Giving?
It’s a nationwide effort to raise awareness and inspire support for our veterans on November 11. While their days in uniform may have ended, the effects of military service often last a lifetime. Your gift helps ensure the ALA Foundation can continue funding programs that uplift and honor veterans in need.

This Veterans Day, please consider making a donation to the ALA Foundation’s Veteran Projects Fund in honor of a servicemember in your life. The ALA Foundation Board of Directors will match the first $4,000 received! You can give online here or text “VETERAN” to 1-844-940-3450 to donate. Our veterans have given so much to protect our freedoms, let’s show our gratitude by giving back.
