The FACT is an organization that supports 20 Community Partnerships across Missouri. Together they focus on the well being of children and families in MO.

The Family and Community Trust (FACT) is a non-profit corporation established in 1993 with a board comprised of nineteen members drawn from the top leadership in state government and the private sector. It governs the work of the twenty official community partnerships across the state. The board’s mission is to promote and support effective public/private partnerships and community involvement to

develop innovative solutions for improving the lives of Missouri’s children and families. FACT harnesses the power of the private sector to help state government implement solutions that are best for their communities.

What do the data say about child well-being in Missouri? The 2026 KIDS COUNT® Data Book from Annie E. Casey Foundation provides a trusted snapshot of how children and families are faring across four areas: economic well-being, education, health and family and community factors. This year’s enhanced index helps better illustrate how outcomes for kids are changing over time — giving communities and leaders better tools to understand the progress that has been made and identify where more action is needed. Rankings show how states compare. Scores range from 0 (worst) to 1,000 (best) and reflect child well-being relative to a 2019 baseline; changes over time indicate progress or decline. Scores are not percentages or a finish line; higher scores indicate better outcomes.

A new opportunity is here to help Missouri kids stay nourished this summer. ☀️ A grant is now available for schools and community organizations to expand access to summer meals in 2026.

When school is out, too many children lose access to reliable nutrition. These funds help bring meals to where kids are. Applications are due on May 8.
