This Friday!

Friday night in Downtown is going to be great - especially with you and yours in attendance! 😄

New attractions include a Snow Village with six inches of snow sponsored by Beth McGeorge - Remax Jefferson City, fire performers (which won't be next to the snow village!), real life dinosaurs, commemorative coffee mugs for the first 300 shoppers with a receipt from a Downtown merchant from Friday evening sponsored by Visit Jefferson City, temporary Christmas tattoos, and more!

Returning favorites include live entertainment in our merchants windows, balloon twisting, the hayride, the reindeer sponsored by Rusty Drewing Toyota, the Polar Express, and more!

Living Windows is happy to have Ameren Missouri and Quaker Windows & Doors as our presenting sponsors again this year!

Happy Holidays, Jefferson City! ✨

This year’s Holiday Card Contest showcased amazing student artwork, spreading creativity and festive cheer.

Huge thanks to Capital Arts for their partnership, the students who participated, and the teachers, parents, and mentors who supported these young artists!

As the City of Jefferson displays this year’s holiday card, we hope it spreads the same warmth and cheer that the artwork brought to us.

From all of us here at the City, thank you for making this contest such a festive success!

Now that Halloween is behind us, it's time to get festive with Jefferson City's Holiday Card Art Contest with Capital Arts!⛄

We’re inviting K-5 students to channel their creativity and holiday cheer by designing Jefferson City’s Official Holiday Card! Whether it’s snowflakes, hot cocoa, or the spirit of giving, we can’t wait to see what 'holiday spirit' means to them.

Help us spread the word, get in the holiday spirit, and encourage kids to show off their artistic talent this season! The winning artwork will become Jefferson City’s Official Holiday Card ❄

🗓️ Deadline: Submissions are open November 1 - 22
📍 How to enter: Upload your submission at capitalarts.org/jcholidaycardcontest or drop off your masterpiece at Capital Arts, 1203 Missouri Boulevard. All styles and mediums are welcome!

November 9 - 22 is Poppies in the Park on the Bicentennial Bridge in Jefferson City’s Deborah Cooper Park on Adrian’s Island.
