"We’re all coming to the table for kids and families." 💙

At the recent LINC Commission meeting in Kansas City, five courageous teenagers from Missouri foster homes took the stage to share their lived experiences and ideas for the future. Their message was clear: what foster youth need most is "just feeling heard."

We are so proud of our Children's Division Director, Sara Smith, who traveled to KC to listen to these incredible young people. As Sara told the panel, "I appreciate you being brave and sharing from your hearts... My role is to amplify what they're saying they need."

When young advocates like Victoria, Jordan, Gary, Brandy, and Rakiyah speak their truth, real change happens.
