𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬

Pickens County Government Offices will be closed in observation of Labor Day on Monday, September 7th, 2026.

Since Pickens County Recycling is typically closed on Monday, they will be closed on Tuesday, September 8th, reopening Wednesday at 8:00am for normal business.

𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐔𝐩!

On Friday, September 4th, 2026, the Pickens County Courthouse will be closing at 12:00pm. This is due to the closure of N. Main Street for JeepFest's Show N' Shine. All other government offices will remain open during regular business hours!

The Pickens County Board of Commissioners will hold their Work Session and Regular Meeting on Monday, August 17, 2026. Please note that the Work Session will begin at 4:00PM, followed by the Regular Meeting at 5:30PM.

Notice! 🔔

⚠️🚨⚠️🚨Pickens County Emergency Management, in coordination with county and city public safety agencies and the Pickens County Public School District, will be holding a public safety exercise at Harmony Elementary School on July 30th.

Please keep in mind that this is a drill. There will be increased public safety vehicles in this area during the exercise.

All Pickens County Government Offices will be closed Friday, July 3rd, in observation of the Fourth of July. This excludes the Recycling Center, which will be open Friday and closed Saturday. We will return to normal business hours on Monday, July 6th!
