A shots fired call answered by patrol over the weekend led to the discovery of ten shell casings in the roadway. The casings were collected and processed at the Jasper Police Department crime lab which resulted in the development of latent prints.

Doing some alternate light source fingerprinting today. Because of the multiple colors a substrate may have powders can become difficult to see with the naked eye. An ALS can be used to filter down the light into individual colour bands (wavelengths) that enhance the visualization of evidence.
