Pineywoods Fire and Rescue We are a volunteer fire department in Walker County, Alabama. We serve the community of Pineywoods with fire and medical services.

All of our members are volunteer and take time out of their lives to help out the community.

With the threat of severe weather this evening and tonight, the storm shelter will be unlocked and opened all night but will only be manned if we are under a warning. Everyone stay weather aware and safe tonight!

Election time is quickly approaching in May. We will be hosting a spaghetti dinner and political rally with a live cake auction on April 30! Come out and join us for a fun filled, informative night meeting and hearing our local candidates…There will also be a drop box for you to submit questions to be asked! All proceeds go directly to our volunteer fire department!

Our next Swamp John’s is coming up on Monday, March 16…You can dine in with us or get it to go from 4-7pm! Plates are $15 each and we accept cash, checks, cards (there is a $2.50 convenience fee with cards) and CashApp! We are also still accepting annual fire dues ($35).
