Most of you do not know the reserves as well as your full time deputies, which is understandable. However I would like you to know that we stand with our Sheriff and deputies to assist in all that we can. We all have full time jobs but work with the Sheriff’s Office as we can or are called upon.

I would like to take this minute to say a prayer for the service members that had died today trying to assist Americans, Citizens of NATO allies and the people of Afghanistan that were trying to reach safety. The cowardly act of bombing citizens and military personnel that were no longer in combat roles is appalling.

Leave no one behind.

For love of God and Country
Jim

It is with heavy hearts today that we announce the passing of Reserve Deputy Jeremiah Harper. Jeremiah was a jailer and had been a full time deputy in the past. Jeremiah had an accident at his residence earlier today. Jeremiah was a good guy always smiling and will be deeply missed by all of the Sheriff’s Department.
