The Walker County Solid Waste Office is Located On The Main Floor Of The Walker County Courthouse. Landfill Hours

Monday - Friday

7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Saturday

7:00 am to 12:00pm


Residential Fees

Once a week garbage pickup is available to county customers at a nominal fee of:

$3.91 weekly

to be paid on a quarterly basis of $

47.00


One 96 gallon garbage receptacle is provided at no cost to all customers once service has been established. This receptacle remains property of WCSW and others are available for a modest fee. Commercial Fees

Dumpster service is available for once a week pickup for the following sizes:

4Yard $100. per month

You are welcomed to bring solid waste to dispose of at the landfill at the following nominal fees:

Vehicle $10.00 per visit

small Trailer $15.00
per visit

Vehicle with Trailer $25.00 per visit

Non-County Vehicle $10

Business Vehicle $15.00 per yard.

Walker County residents are invited to take part in the Walker County Community Cleanup Day 2026 on Saturday, April 11, in partnership with Alabama People Against a Littered State (ALPALS).

We wanted to announce our county-wide trash pickup day on April 11! 🚮

Here are the details:

✅ In conjunction with ALPALS - Alabama People Against a Littered State 🤝

✅ If you want to participate, you can pick up designated garbage bags at district shops starting on Thursday, April 2.

NOTE: this is not a free day to dump your own residential trash - when you arrive at the Landfill, make sure you tell them the area of roadside you have cleaned up!
