Today, we remember Chief Anthony “Tony” Rickerson on the third anniversary of his End of Watch, June 11, 2023.

Chief Rickerson dedicated his life to serving and protecting the citizens of our community with honor, courage, and unwavering commitment. His legacy continues to inspire those who wear the badge and those who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we reflect on his sacrifice, we also honor all law enforcement officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their service and dedication will never be forgotten.

Gone, but never forgotten.

The Jasper Police Department would like to thank the Florida Highway Patrol and the Florida Department of Agriculture Law Enforcement for their combined efforts during last week’s “Click It or Ticket” campaign within the City of Jasper.

This joint operation resulted in numerous warnings, citations, and arrests related to various traffic offenses and outstanding warrants.

We appreciate the continued partnership and commitment to keeping our community safe through proactive traffic enforcement and public safety initiatives.
