With the help of donors like you, Newton County Imagination Library (NCIL) provides free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth to age 5 who live in Newton County, Arkansas. All funds received are used locally to support NCIL. The gift of books to children in our community shows that we believe in them and in the importance of reading. NCIL is a local program partner of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

Our Funding Snapshot:
Since May 2024, NCIL has maintained at or near 100% enrollment of the estimated 322 children under the age of 5 who live in Newton County. $31 is the estimated cost for one child to receive one book per month for one year (12 books). $155 provides one child with one book per month from birth to age 5 (60 books). $9,982 provides 322 children with one book per month for one year (3,864 books). NCIL is funded by donations from community partners and individual sponsors (like you!) and by grants, including a 50% matching grant from the Arkansas Imagination Library and the Arkansas Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The matching grant doubles the impact of your donation. Your donation puts books in the hands of Newton County infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and early literacy within their grasp. 💙
