Congratulations to one of our own, Braden Keller!

On Monday Orry Phipps and Braden Keller were presented with the Valor Award by State Fire Marshal’s Stephen Jones Office. The Valor Award is the highest award given to civilian public safety officers and first responders. This award was given for their extraordinary bravery when they entered an apartment that was actively collapsing to rescue a trapped individual as well as four other victims. Their quick actions and courage exemplify the very best of the fire service.

Braden serves as a full-time Firefighter/EMT on Linton Fire Department and is one of our volunteer firemen/EMTs here on Jasonville Fire Department.

Braden is living out his lifelong dreams by following in the footsteps of his Grandpa, past Jasonville Fire Chief Pude Keller. We know he is looking down and is so proud of you!

Please join us in congratulating Orry and Braden for their heroic actions. We are proud to serve alongside each of you. 🖤❤️🖤

UPDATE: Our lot has been cleared!

🚨 Volunteer Help Needed – Snow Removal 🚨

We’re looking for a volunteer with a plow to help clear the parking lot at our Volunteer Fire Department after the snowfall.

Keeping the lot clear helps our firefighters and emergency vehicles get in and out quickly when every second counts.

If you’re able to help — or know someone who can — we would greatly appreciate the assistance.

We truly appreciate the support from our community. Stay safe and warm out there! ❄️❤️

Please move vehicles off the roadside and into driveways, garages, or parking lots if you are able.

Snow plows, fire trucks, police, and ambulances need room to get through — and blocked roads can delay help when it matters most.

✅ Clear curb = faster plowing
✅ Better access for emergency crews
✅ Safer streets for everyone

The Jasonville Fire Department has openings for vendors in the firehouse. The cost is $35. Electricity is available as long as you let us know at registration. You must bring your tables, but chairs are available. Contact Morgan Sparks to get registered!
